    On trade show day you'd better be ready

    Preparation, testing and troubleshooting prior to showtime is critically imperative. Gather all the materials you'll require, brochures, leaflets, any audio visual equipment, Pamphlets, booklets and entry forms. Be sure to ask for electrical energy from trade show management ahead if you will need it. Also, don't let any piece of corporate marketing material leave your trade show domain without company brand and contact info on it - trade-show visitors Had better understand how to get in contact with you after the trade-show.

    Probe your trade-show visitors for information

    Ask open ended questions. The biggest fault of trade show participants is asking closed-ended questions. Any question that can be answered in a no or a yes is prejudicial to you establishing your service or product. Why you might ash, the reason is pretty simple. Prospects see closed questions as a way of avoiding answering. They may give you a 'no' or 'yes', and they keep on walking. That's considered a negative result. You want them to pause and think about your company products and services. Make them stop and answer your question. Begin an interactive conversation. Before you approach your prospect think of some good "introduction lines" before talking with anyone.

    Give your visitors something to play with.

    When people figit with objects they often form an attachment to them. They get aquainted with the idea of how the product works and become more excited with the thought of buying them. Consequently, advise your show-booth participants to put together audio-visual shows that vistors can operate easily -- feeling like it is a part of the trade show experience as they interact with your products.

    Remote-Controlled Pigeons
    Chinese scientists have reportedly been able to control a pigeon's flight remotely through electrodes that stimulated different parts of the bird's brain. Scientists at the Robot Engineering Technology Research Center at Shandong University were able to send the pigeon commands to fly left, right, up and down. It is reportedly the first such successful experiment in the world, and could have important implications for neurology and even remote mind control.
