You'd better be prepared on Tradeshow day

Make life easy and prepare well ahead of time. Round up the materials you will need, entry forms, any audio visual equipment, professional signs, booklets, business cards and ballots for draws. Ensure you ask for electricity from chief operators well in advance if you require it. Also, don't allow any piece of company marketing material leave your tradeshow booth without your cormpany ID and contact info on it - people that visit Should understand how to get in touch with you after the trade show.

Talk to your visitors

Ask open-ended questions. The biggest fault of trade show participants is asking closed questions. Any question that can be answered in a yes or no is damaging to you showing your servings. There is a logical explaination for this. Prospects view closed questions as easy to not respond to. They may give you a 'yes' or 'no', while they keep on strollinf away. That's not what you want. You you would like them to stop and think about your product. and think about your product and services. Force them to stop and respond to your question. Get the communnication lines opened. Create some good "openers" before you even get going.

Make your visitors partipate in your trade show.

When visitors manipulate objects they oftentimes develop an attachment to them. They understand the concept of the way the product feels and become more enthused about the thought of buying them. Hence, tell your show-booth participants to arrange audio displays that trade-show visitors can operate easily -- they will feel like they are sharing the show experience when they interact with your products.
