    Tip 1: You'd better be ready on Trade show day

    Make life easy and prepare well ahead of time. Gather all the supplies you'll require, entry forms, ballots for draws, brochures, booklets, product samples and professional signs. Ensure you ask for electrical energy from show management in front if you require it. Also, do not allow any of your marketing literature leave your trade show booth without company brand and contact info on it - visitors MUST understand how else to get in contact with you after the show.

    Tip 2: Probe your trade show visitors for information

    Generalize your questions and comments. The biggest fault of trade show participants is asking closed questions. Any question that can be answered in a no or a yes is prejudicious to you establishing your servings. Let me explain why. Prospects view closed-ended questions as easy to not respond to. They give you a "yah" or "nah", while they keep on strollinf away. I would regard this as self defeating. You you would like them to stop and think about your product. and think about your product and services. Make them stop and respond to your question. Now it's time to have conversation. Create some good "opening statements" before you start talking.

    Tip 3: Visitors participation is everything.

    When people manipulate objects they typically develop an attachment to them. They understand the concept of how else the product feels and become more enthused with the probability of buying them. So, tell your show-booth participants to put together audio visual displays that vistors can operate easily -- they will feel like it is part of the show experience as they connect with your product offerings.
